Solo Martial Arts is a very differnt kind of martial arts school in Newcastle. Our unique children's martial arts education practices Intelligent Curriculum which unleashes children's potential; we call it 'Character Devlopment Martial Arts'.

The NEW WAY is to help these students become the ACTION heroes of their own journey, to take real action on their goals and achievements.
Your Child will be building confidence and leadership skills while creating their own success stories. Your child will be recording their experiences in their unique Black Belt 'evidence' logbook along the way.
We do not just test a Child for their belts; Solo Martial Arts test them every day of their training journey to Black Belt excellence. At Solo Martial Arts we are leading the way by using 'evidence' based learning to bulid and monitor your Child's development.

Below is a taste of typical SMA kids fitness session

A Few SMA students enjoying a sunny evening fitness training outdoors, with their instructor Mr Hunter. These Students are very dedicated and do this training every Friday along with a healthy diet.
The programme incorporates the best from Sport Karate, kickboxing, Grappling and personal Self protection, fused together with leading Character Development and evidence learning skills, providing children with fun, well rounded martial art and life empowerment system that builds confidence for success and achievement!
Solo Martial Arts Character Development programme is NOT just another after school activity. Football, Dance Swimming etc are all great activities for children but they can't come close to Solo Martial Arts development of character and leadership through physical activity.
